A free event to share local information about dying, death and grief.

Geelong Cemeteries Trust presents its inaugural event - Living And Dying: Let's Talk on Thursday, August 8, 2019.

To be held at Portarlington Parks Hall, the event coincides with the nationally celebrated 'Dying To Know Day'.  This event is the first of four future Living and Dying: Let’s Talk events, with others to come in Macedon, Geelong and Colac.

Living and Dying: Let’s Talk will encourage Victorians to openly discuss their death wishes and will spread awareness of locally available end of life health care and support services.

Guest speakers will open the event with speed talking presentations to educate patrons about dying processes and end of life options.

The event will incorporate networking and expo stands, lunch, workshops, and meditation. A Death Café and Death Bar will create an opportunity to ask questions about death and grief in a relaxed atmosphere over a coffee or a beer.
