Fabricated from Corten and galvanised steel, the three metre tall sculpture is the creation of Kooper Tasmania, a partnership between Folko Kooper and Maureen Craig. Focusing on garden sculpture and water features, they specialise in limited ranges and one-off pieces.

The Trust’s Community Advisory Committee for the Gisborne Cemetery chose this sculpture as it would complement the heritage oak trees that now form the canopy of the Oak Memorial Walk, with the sculpture, comprising of three leaves with their rusty Corten and galvanised colours, providing a pleasant contrasts with the ever changing backdrop of grass, greenery and autumn foliage.
